Wedding gifts are tricky. I remember we really wanted the things we registered for (why else would we have spent hours on the decisions?) but loved the personalized gifts that people chose for us. It was special that someone would share their talent (a friend painted our invitation - so delicate and special) or personal favorite item.
We had friends get married this weekend and their registry had been picked dry. Seriously! I've been to their house and I don't know where they will put it all! Still, we wanted to give them a little something. You can read more about it here.
