Reading Update - Accountability/Admissions of Shortcomings

Remember how I started out the year so well and then decided to set a goal for myself?  I LOVE setting goals! I'm just not so great at reaching them!

Remember I listed out areas of life I want to focus on and came up with these five:
Special Needs (S)
Parenting (P)
Marriage (M)
Theology (T)
Daily Living - Practical (L)

It's May.  Here's how I'm doing:
S - Unlocked
T - Through His Eyes
L - Shopping for Time
L - 1.  Total Money Makeover
T - 2.  Disappointment with God
L - 3.  1000 Gifts
P - 4.  Intentional Parenting
P - 5.  Bringing the Gospel to Covenant Children
P - 6.  Don't Make Me Count to Three
L - 7.  Between Walden and the Whirlwind
T - 8.  Prodigal God
T - 9.  Almost Christian
T - 10.  Respectable Sins
S - 11.  Same Lake Different Boat
S - 12.  Our Special Needs Child
S - 13.  Expressing Faith in Jesus - Church Membership for People with Cognitive Impairments
M - 14. Love and Respect
M - 15.  The Respect Dare
M - 16.  Love that Lasts - when sinners say I Do

I could make up excuses but I won't.  I could sit in shame and guilt but I won't.  I'm just going to get off the computer and go read three - four more pages before sleep overtakes me!
What are YOU reading?

"Where the River Runs North" which has been recommended as good preparation to understanding the area of the West we're visiting on our vacation this year. MM

So have we talked about Almost Christian? I'm reading it now. Is 1000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp? If yes, I love her blog and am curious what you think when you get to that one. This list makes me remember we need to get together. Holler when you can!

PS -- loved the pics of KB on your landlord's tractor. Wonder if his heart is melting?!?! :)
