Sprinkler Savings

The same day I received our water bill, which was $15 more than it has ever been, we arrived home from camp drop-off to find our Landlord was watering the garden. He was using one of the great classic sprinklers and was, therefore, getting double the benefit as he watered the garden for two counts and then the grass for two counts.

My children decided to increase his returns on water usage by playing in the sprinkler. It was very spontaneous - as in they got all wet while I was carrying in groceries - but KB didn't like wet clothes so we put her suit on.

Can't tell you how much watching this made me smile. Bubba looks alot like my brother did when he was little and KB looks so much like my baby pictures. Andy and I used to play in a sprinkler just like this one - he has stitches in his head to prove it!

Mr. Meyers, the Landlord, was pulling weeds in a flower bed and keeping a close eye on his sprinkler.

Such joy from simply experiencing streams of shooting water. KB jumped back and forth, over and over.
