And To Think You Can See It on My Street!

We live in a pretty "well-to-do" part of the county. It makes me smile, really. Not because I like to be surrounded by money *wink* but because driving home from. . . anywhere, reminds me of God's faithfulness to us, love for my children, and sense of humor!

This resort home is just being completed. I swear they could fit a small country's population in this place (comfortably).

This home is beautiful. The five car garage and the four cars parked outside of it were unable to fit in the photo.

This fellow has been built in the past year as well. I have never seen any people near the place but I feel certain a very large family must live here.

A few more houses on my street. . .

This one is for sale! (Just under $8 million - 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms)

And then you round the corner and you are surprised by:

So, what do I think about while driving home? It goes something like this, " We live less than a mile from that $8 million dollar house. I am so glad we live so close to the church and Honey wasn't late this morning because we live so close to his office. Our kids are in the PERFECT schools for their needs. We live in a 68 year old farmhouse with four bedrooms and just look at all "our" trees. There's a deer! It's like God kept this little haven just for us."
How do I dare to ever doubt Him?

Your entry brought smile to my face. I'm Missy Jensen's mom and I often reach your blog from hers. We do smile at God's faithfulness. In fact some times we can't help but burst with joy because of His presence in our lives. Keep serving Him in the daily routine of raising a family. HE IS WORTHY! You're in my prayers, Faith Johnson (Grandma Johnson)

Love it! I have thought that so many times, especially while driving to your house, or to get Starbuck's.

And just think - you didn't even include the enormous park across the street. That is an even greater splendor to live near (to me). You _are_ in the perfect location. :)

Dear Becky,

Those mansions look cold and soul-less but your love nest looks warm and a HOME. May God continue to bless you as you serve Him from just where you are now. Love from Aussie Helen
