My birthday month is only five days away.
I have always liked May. It's a glorious month in most ways. Nice weather. School ends. People focus on me for a day. Good stuff.
Since we moved here in 2002, May has taken on a different flavor. Tornado weather. School ends and Honey's job is STRESS filled. Hollywood releases a major action film and it gets all the focus.
2002 - Star Wars
2003 - Matrix Reloaded
2004 - Mom came to visit and almost died. No movie. No focus.
2005 - Star Wars
2006 - Honey graduates from Seminary. No movie. No focus.
2007 - Pirates of the Caribbean
2008 - ??
2009 - Star Trek
2010 - Iron Man
It's not May yet. . . I have five days.
Today we had a tornado come through. Honey is stressed about work. As you see. . . Iron Man 2 is scheduled to open May 7! My thought is we might get everything over with early. Ha.
HOW SELF CENTERED IS THIS POST?????
My original point was to let parents and sisters and other book buying types (Brooke) know that there is a great gift option available. Futoshiki. Yea - if you can find a Futoshiki book I would love that. (For all my spare time, right?)

Well, at least you have the whole month to celebrate, right. If it is any consolation, I am not that interested in the new Iron Man movie and I will NOT let that come between me and your birthday, I promise :). Never heard of Futoshiki--do you think I should be putting it on my birthday list?? It's only 4 1/2 months away.
MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Who are you David Nolda?
This whole thing is making me laugh. Even the line about your mom almost dying and that certainly was NOT funny (I was there so I know). i still say-swap birthday months with your hubby-though I will say, cold birthday months aren't really that much fun either.
