In all their days my children have done very little pretend play. VERY LITTLE. Watching KB is a trip because she talks to her babies, feeds her babies, etc. RIGHT NOW, all three children are in Bubba's room playing Super Why. They have already broken a couple "rules" but I can't bring myself to go in there because I don't want it to end.
This is the conversation:
Bubba, "I am Super Why and KB, you can be Red."
KB runs to her room to get her Snow White skirt (?) and comes back to say, "Me Red".
Little pipes in, "I want to be Red."
I interrupt long enough to bring Little a tiara and tutu and say, "You can be Princess Presto."
Conversation between them resumes with Bubba saying (not surprisingly) just what he has said before, "I am Super Why and KB, you can be Red. Little, you are Princess Presto. Maybe Mom will be Alpha Pig. He's a big guy. Let's see if Mom will be Alpha Pig."
Actually, I do have the best theme song. . .
