Today we played outside and only ONE of my children was wearing a pull-up! (Little)
Tonight Little was picking up the Legos. She had been defiant, there had been discipline, and I was frustrated. After watching her lay on her side and pick up individual Legos, one at a time, using one hand I said, "Sit up and use two hands." Little sat up and grabbed the Lego with two hands. That's right - a 1"x1" Lego with two hands. (She wasn't being ugly - she is just THAT literal.)
When Bubba prayed before bed last night he said, "Dear God, Thank you for your son. . .give His life. . . Peter Pan. Amen."
Little has been singing all weekend. It is so AWESOME to hear her monotone voice belting out, "Will you decide now to follow Jesus?" or the ABCs.
In the car this morning Little said, "Tomorrow is Thursday and I'll go to school." I said, "Tomorrow you will go to school but it is actually Monday tomorrow. Remember our song?" I break into a song we sing about the days of the week. After going through it TWICE I said, "So, today is Sunday (sung to the tune of the song) what is tomorrow?" Little replied, "Thursday and I'll go to school."
Our new Pastor is such a great gift to our church. I can't wait for Sundays!

You don't know me although your husband knows about my husband and we both know Jawan which is how I found your blog. The reason I added you to my google reader (other than your reference to Gattica and Terminator which made my heart sing just a little) is that apparently your Little and my mackerdoodle are twins separated at birth. Reading about your family makes me smile because I can SEE it happening, mostly because it has recently happened at my house.
How in the WORLD did you pottytrain KB already? And can I send my kids (one at a time) to your house? :)
I'm so glad you have the memory to hold all of these treasures and write them down for us. I always forget the funny things my kids do 5 seconds after they do/say them!
