I LOVED Valentines Day this year. It was
fun to make it a family holiday and celebrate every day. The cards in the mailbox didn't really go over well with the kids - they are just too young to really "get it", but the daily coconut hearts with a reason I love Honey taped on each one, went over just great. Each day when we sat down at the table, Little would quote, "We love because He first loved us." and my heart would sing.
As far as gifts go, I decided to put Honey out of any misery he might feet between Feb. 13 - 14 and just let him know what I wanted for Valentines Day. I asked that he not spend any money - just clean my car. (Honey LOVES to wash the cars! Really.) He said okay and I wondered if he had heard me.
I worked all day Saturday and when I got home I noticed the light had been left on in the van. I smiled to myself and walked over to the sparkling white vehicle. Here's how the inside looked:
What a guy!!!
So, we went inside and I showered him with kisses. . .
Cookies and Cream Hershey Kisses - that is!!!

That is one of the best Valentines presents I've ever seen!!! I think its a MARVELOUS idea! There is just something wonderfully life-giving to me about having a cleaned out minivan!!! For the few days it lasts, it makes me feel like I have a clean, non-chaotic life.
It is a great feeling for the very short time it lasts! ;)
