Mother's Day Week - Saturday

So, here's the picture from the tea with Thomas:

Now, on to Saturday.  Over the past several years our church has hosted a Mother/Daughter Tea on the Saturday before Mother's Day.  So, this past weekend we Blue Hutch gals got gussied up and headed out to the tea themed "Following in her Footsteps".

There were polka dots and shoes everywhere.  The gym looked so great! We shared a table with dear friends and enjoyed the sharing, games, and entertainment.  Good times.

KB loved sitting next to her sweet friend Chloe.  Every now and again I overheard her giving Chloe instructions and explaining things to her.  Chloe would respond, "KB" and it was settled.

KB was a part of the entertainment - she was a tea pot.  My friend sent me video (our table was at a terrible angle) but I can't get it to down load.  Here's a couple pictures to give the idea.  Basically, there were six 3 year olds who sang "i'm a little teapot" and there were 200+ women who said, "awwwww".  Good times.

There were coloring books full of pictures of shoes for the girls to color while we played a game (unscramble that type of shoe!) and the food was yummy yummy.  We had spinach quiche for the first course, strawberries, scones and cream for the second go round, and precious cupcakes with chocolate high heels to wrap it up.  You can tell which part of the morning was Little's favorite part!!

There was a fashion show with gals between 1 and 50+ and each wore their favorite pair of shoes to show us.  There were some crazy stilettos, impossible boots, sweet and sassy sandals, AND a pair of pink fuzzy slippers.  Good times.

I thought my night would be an early one but it turns out my Honey and my BIL set up a dinner date for me and my sister.  We talked for 1.5 hours uninterrupted.  It was SO MUCH FUN.  Good times.  Good times.
