DPP 12 - Angel We Have Seen on High

Tonight was the Kirk Kids' performance of Candy Cane Lane.  It was super and fun to watch.  Our Little was an angel during the nativity scene and that beautiful gal on the right is Jen; she shadowed Little all semester and took great care of her.  We are so thankful for the way God provides for our family and cares for our special little ones.

The musical went well.  We had two friends who drove across town in the snow to support the Kickin Kids.  When Little started she just stood perfectly still and looked forward.  I thought, "Dear Lord, PLEASE! These gals drove in the snow! Please let her dance or sing."  By the second song she was singing a bit and from that point on she rotated between singing and hand motions (she just can't do both at the same time!).
Bonus picture:

See how the boy behind Little has his hands in the air? See how Little has her hand in the air? She might have been one move behind but, for Pete's Sake, she did the right actions and did them well.  Such a joy.

I love children's Christmas programs! Sounds like she did a great job and her pj's look cute, too :).

I would have driven through snow regardless of whether anybody sung or danced. :) So fun to see you, friends. xoxo Shelley
