Snow?

NO!
It's not snow, it is Styrofoam.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write about this little incident.  Bubba was given this alphabet train last Christmas and I pulled it out of the closet in the first week of November.  He played with it for two days straight.  On a Thursday morning, when KB and Bubba were both home with me, I heard silence from Bub's room and then laughing and jumping and carrying on.  After it went on for awhile I went to check on what was so fun and found the room and the children covered in Styrofoam balls.    The blocks of Styrofoam used to pack the train pieces safely in their box were now shredded and sticking to everything and everyone.  The kids thought it was wonderful and were talking about snow and being cold (Bubba is really dressed for snowy weather), etc.

You think it's cute, don't you?
It took 40 minutes to clean up.  35 of that was spent vacuuming.  NO LIE.
Obviously I wasn't too mad - I took a picture.  It wasn't annoying until 35 minutes had passed and Bubba came  back into his room wanting to "do it again."

Note to self: confiscate all Styrofoam before leaving children with new toys.  Glad I learned this before Christmas!
