Party in the PCA

On Friday, my friend Megan put up five links on her blog.  I must admit I ignored the one that had to do with mathematics and I debated on looking at the one on relationships then chose not to.  BUT I couldn't pass up the other three.

One was a recipe for Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake and I made that recipe tonight for our small group.  It's a keeper.

One was a disturbing article about full body scans being done at our local airport.  Seems a bit unconstitutional.

One was a video of two PCA church leaders dancing and singing.  Now, I went and watched that video then forwarded it to my pastor, music director, and sister, and then showed it to Honey.  It was hilarious.  Honey was determined to find out which church this was and started the "hunt".  In mere moments we were on the ChristChurch website and looking at their list of staff to see if we know anyone - since the church is in Atlanta and we know people in Atlanta.  Turns out we know their music minister.  Rev. Greg Hill is married to my dear friend, Kristi.  Small world, eh? Well, it gets smaller.  As we looked at their missionary list and new members list, there were three couples who recently graduated from the seminary!

I know, all of that is only interesting to my mom, but you will ALL enjoy the video!

Thanks, Becky for this - made us smile and laugh. I think it is great that in the PCA we can enjoy God and have fun! What great diversity too! Will you be in C'nooga for the PCA Global Missions Conference?
