What an exciting milestone! I do think that watching a child learn to read is one of the most exciting things ever :).
Little, you're not "going to be a reader." You ARE a reader! Wonderful job.Watching a child unlock the world of the written world is pure bliss.
..."I sure did" I think is my favorite response...like no big deal I do this all the time.
