Thursday

Every day is chaos - you would think I'd have more to post.

My husband is talking with Little through the bathroom door and the term "girl power" was just used. What in the world??

I made the mistake of telling my echolaic, mentally impaired five year old that memom gave us a computer (ages ago) for her to use but daddy needed to set it up. She has spoken of very little else (and she talks non-stop) for three days. Honey DID order the cord we need last night, but at the cost of a week of sanity.

We saw the new Harry Potter last week and I LOVED IT. I think David Yates did a great job of choosing what to keep and what to leave out. He did a super job of balancing the light hearted elements of growing up and the increasing threat of darkness against good. Two Thumbs Up.

We went to The Magic House last week with Variety (a children's charity). Our Libby came to stay with KB and we had a ball with the older two children and 100+ other kids (in wheelchairs)and their families. I forgot my camera.

I got my new calendar from familytime.mine. I LOVE it. It started this week. There's a quote ever week. I have never paid much attention to it but someone worked hard to come up with all those and so I'll be reading them. This week's. . ."We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand." Randy Pausch. Well, how appropriate. Wonder what other nuggets I have missed over the past four years of using this calendar.

Hey Becky, loved hearing about everything. thanks for bringing us into your everyday excitement!?:)
The quote you gave is just one of many insightful thoughts Randy Pausch had in his book. Have you read it? I know, like you have an inordinate amount of free time to read. :) Have a great day! Glenda

Your blog came at just the right time. I have been thinking I need to order a new planner, but the one I usually get is somewhat expensive. I did a little bit of research about it and it looks pretty good. What do you really like about it and where did you get yours? I looked at a few places online and it says they are out of stock. I can't even find any of them on the Borders website. If you found yours someplace special, let me know. Thanks!

It is precisely all of the CHAOS in our lives that *prevents* us from posting more often!
I blog-daydream (I call it bleaming) all of the time, day-dreaming of all of the funny, crazy and random things I would post if I had the time, but I don't.
So they just stay bleams in my head! :)

I spent a whole afternoon with my new familytime.mine calendar this week. I even used a multi-colored pen (Hello Kitty I stole from Anna) to get really organized. Ahh a fresh start!
