Things about today I don't want to forget. . .

1. Bubba laying in bed ready for me to tuck him in and KB sitting beside him. He would say a part of her face and she would point to it. "Your cheek," he would say and she would point. "That's right, KB," he would say, "Good job." SO DEAR.

2. Little barely made it off the bus before she was pulling her "butterfly wings" out of her backpack to show me. She wanted me to tuck the purple tissue paper, covered in glitter and marker, into the back of her shirt so she could fly like a butterfly. I don't want to forget the image of her running down the hill into the yard with her arms open and the tissue paper flying. PRECIOUS.

3. Bubba asking Little if he could have her last blackberry at dinner and her responding, "Sure you can, Bubs."

4. KB got too much water in her face in the bathtub tonight. She jumped up sputtering and turned to me. I blew in her face, she laughed, threw her arms around my neck and pressed her wet face up against me in a huge hug.

5. My Little prayed before bed tonight, "Dear Jesus, Thank you for my brother and my sister. Thank you for good sleeps tonight. In your sweet name I pray, Amen." SERIOUSLY.

6. I went to pray with Bubba tonight and told KB that it was time to talk with God. She put her little hands together and bowed her head - then peeked up at me to see if I was going to start. Oh that she would grow up talking with Him.

7. I shopped at Dierbergs today - I never go to Dierbergs. Things there usually cost twice what I can get it for somewhere else. . . even when it is on sale. But it is such a pretty place it makes me sigh just to go in. Anyway, they have blackberries for $.99 this week (less than half of what they cost at Sam's) and loaves of Sara Lee bread (wheat) are $1 this week and so we went and have filled our freezer with loaves and berries.

It was a good day.

I love this list. Don't you wish you could capture it and look at it again later? Blessings to your sweet family.
