Tea Time

Every year, around Mother's Day, our church has a mother/daughter tea. I went four years ago when Little was barely born and it was fun. I haven't gone since because she was too little to sit through it.

This year the theme was Faith, Fables, and Fairytales and Little and I couldn't wait to go. Everything was centered around children's books and it was a wonderful morning. We asked our friend, Mrs. Janet, to go with us (she has no children living in town) and had a lovely time!

Little loved getting dressed up. She loved the hot tea and entertained everyone as she made a bookmark between courses. She recognized Eli right away in the skit of Max Lucado's You Are Special and ate a gazillion chocolate chip cookies and strawberries.
I loved every second with her. Such a special memory. I can't wait to go again next year.
