We met in 7th grade and got to be good friends in high school.
When the time came to go off to college, we ended up going to the same University and since we were the only people we knew there - - and we already liked each other - - we became even closer friends. "Bosom Friends," as Anne Shirley would say.
Somewhere in there she started dating Scott and his "bosom friend" started dating our other friend and we were all friends.
And then Monica got married.
And then, five years later, I got married.
And now, after all this time we are still friends. So much so that she and her husband (that guy she dated in college) came to visit for my birthday this weekend!
I love me some Mo!!
And Scott is pretty great too - my kids agreed!
Thanks for coming, guys! Can't wait to see you again this Fall!
