Things I did this week that must prove how much I like my mom (and how much I'm like my mom):
1. Led a committee meeting and kicked everything off with a game.
2. Caught my child contemplating disobedience and pointed to the "spank spoon" with a warning look.
3. Browned the meat and diced the green peppers at 10:00 AM for a dish that didn't have to go into the oven for dinner until 4:45 PM.
4. Cleaned the lint out of the dryer between EVERY load.
5. Went to a mother/daughter tea with Little and missed having my mom there to share the fun.
6. Brought four rolls of toilet tissue up to the bathroom "just in case" we came close to running out.
7. Offered water to my guests.
8. Pressed "5" on my speed dial at least 50 times.
9. Said "frit"
10. Re-read my blog post for errors before posting it.
11. Wrote an entire blog post about her.
12. Read to my children.
Happy Mother's Day, Mom.
You are truly wonderful - don't know what I'd do without you.
Thank you for loving us well, teaching us about our Father, and training us up in the way we should go.
This is me rising up to call you "Blessed".
I love you!
