Whilst all my friends were working at Wal*Mart this past Saturday, I was not. That's right folks. Honey made the executive decision and called to let my boss know that last Tuesday was, in fact, my last day. God orchestrated it so that the MANAGER herself answered the phone and so Honey went straight to the Top. I had turned in my resignation but Honey's call cut off a week. Renee was extra understanding and said she would be glad to have me back anytime. I cried with relief when Honey called to tell me it was taken care of.
So, what was I doing since I wasn't behind a cash register? Spending the first Saturday in four months with my family! Take a gander:
Don't they look thrilled??
They may not look happy, but their mommy is one happy woman. I am so grateful that I have the option to stay home. Thank you, Jesus, for such a gift. I am VERY aware that many of the people I was working with do not have that same luxury.
I will miss Wal*Mart, though.

1. Thrilled to hear you are done w/the job, even though the stories will be missed.
2. It looks like Bubba has grown about 6 inches this year.
3. Honey looks spectacular on the swing.
How fun for you to play with everyone on Saturday. Glad God has given you that gift. Sorry I missed your mom on Sunday. Miss you!
LOVE the serious faces. Hilarious!
I know your Saturday was especially wonderful, since you haven't had one with your family in so long. How wonderful for your Honey to take such good care of you and making the hard call for you. From what I can tell from the pictures, I think Hannah has the same cute shirt that Little is wearing--Target?? Did you get a lot of stuff done while your mom was there?
I know that relief. I remember when Kermit brought a dozen roses into me on my last day at Wal-Mart 11 years ago. I was so happy to be quitting. My fellow employees didn't really understand why I wanted to leave so badly. 8 years of Wally world was more than enough for me. I'm so glad you're life will return more to "norml" (whatever that means)
Norml? I meant normal, obviously. :)
