For Kent Needler:
This week was Diaper Deal week at Walgreens. We really like Walgreens' brand diapers/pull-ups so we look for ways to save. We usually come out way ahead of Sam's and since we don't like Wal*Mart brand, I have never compared the price. (I am frugal not cheap.)
Basically there was a "if you buy 2 you get $2 off" deal and then a $3 off 2 in the weekly flier AND we get 10% off since we have a members card. So, I have (thus far) bought 6 packs of diapers and 8 packs of pull-ups and paid $62.00. That comes out to $4.43/pack of diapers/pull-ups. NOT BAD! A savings of $54.40.
And that's how it's done.

You. Amaze. Me.
Hey Becky, It's Abby E., your old neighbor :) I found your blog via my Gmail recommendations and I think it is so cute. I confessed recently on my blog that I had been lurking over here for a couple of weeks and then went ahead linked everyone to you! I figured I should 'fess up and say hello. It looks like you have no shortage of readers, so I'm sure you won't mind a few more. And I do mean a very few!
And way to go on your savings! I get so overwhelmed with coupons and math and having to go to a different store for the unbeatable price of just that one thing. It got to the point where I would come home from doing errands crying because I forgot my coupons or didn't have time to get to Aldi's before naps. So George made an executive decision and told me no more clipping coupons and no more out of the way stops- he couldn't handle the drama! But I truly admire anyone with the presence of mind and energy for all of it. It is definitely worth it for the savings! You should be proud!
