Psalm 139

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. "
Psalm 139: 13-15
Funny how you can memorize a portion of scripture when you are young and the Lord will use it to shape and mold you and then, when you are older, something happens and that same verse becomes dearer still.  It is all to wonderful to know that our Little was not hidden from the Lord when she was "being made in secret".  The reality is that the Lord was knitting her together when, between weeks five and eight of development, her Corpus Callosum didn't form.  And what a glorious declaration that His works are wonderful - my soul KNOWS IT in a way it never has before.  Yes, our Little is fearfully and wonderfully made.

So, the latest project is complete.  I have had this in my mind for a couple years.  It has morphed from stenciling (then I would have to redo it if we moved) to this.  The pile of cut letters has been sitting on my dresser for months and I finally just decided to hang it while Little was at school this afternoon.  I can't wait to hear her response when she comes home today.  What fun to explain to her what this says and means.

I'll tell you all about it, I mean, if you want to know.

Well, I do want to know all about it (as in, how did you make it?). AC has NOTHING on her walls because I just don't know what to do.

Too cute, and probably way easier than stenciling, and what a great reminder to fall asleep to every night!
