There is the outfit I need to mail to my friend Susan, the pictures to give to Jen and Cris from a PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY!, the CHRISTMAS packages to mail to all my in-laws, a folder of honeys that I swear I just took upstairs yesterday, the dvd from going to get Little's and Bubba's haircut yesterday, playdoh from Little's dentist visit Saturday (leading me to ask - why does every doctor feel the need to reward children and why does giving them JUNK, that I have to find a place for, constitute as a reward. Basically, a reward for them is a punishment for the one raising them in such a fashion that they behave themselves. I digress), the phone (this picture will serve to help me remember where it is the next time it rings), and books. Why books -Little is obsessed with turning pages at this stage and has a book in her hands almost always; several end up being left on the kitchen floor and, while we are working on "books don't belong on the floor" we haven't had success yet. So, these were gathered after lunch today and stacked for her to put away after nap time.
So there you go - our life is full of packages we haven't mailed and things we have to put away. Will I ever live in a life again where tasks are completed and there is a place for everything and EVERYTHING'S IN IT'S PLACE?
Till then, . . . .

It MIGHT happen briefly when your kids all go to school at the same time, but it won't last for more than 30 minutes after they arrive back home :).
We've had the same kind of weather here. I like winter, but I will enjoy "playing outside" weather while we have it.
I say no!
Becky, I understand the word "clutter" very well. That has become a test of patience for me since married life has come my way again. Not sure you are aware of this, but living alone provided me great freedom to live the way I selfishly wanted. But given the fact that God has given me a superwonderful man, concessions need to be made. Clutter is one of them, I'm learning to accept to a degree. :) BTW, I rolled back in your blog and spotted the picture of Memom and Pops and Kicklighters 5 and saw the shutters on the wall. You are such a dear, that is truly a memory that will forever stay with me. What a tribute to Sam, too!!! Thank you dear one for allowing me a fond memory in photo. Can you believe it's been ten years since he's gone to Jesus? Love to all, even though I don't write much, I do check the sight every now and then. Love ya! B
